Welcome to the Association for Learning Mandarin in Australia Inc (ALMA). ALMA is a Canberra-based non-profit community organisation which promotes the learning and use of Mandarin Chinese and a greater understanding of Chinese culture in Australia, particularly in the school system. ALMA is at the forefront of putting structures in place for Australians to learn Mandarin in our multilingual local and global community. Mandarin is increasingly regarded as the language of the future for Australians.
